Two days. 58 hours. 3,480 minutes, give or take. That’s all that’s left until SWEDE FEST™ 2 PALM BEACH gets underway at 7:00 PM this Saturday, July 27. Online ticket sales end at noon tomorrow, and there’s a good chance we’ll sell out and there won’t be any available for people who thought they could just stroll in and pay at the door.

WOW!!! The Los Angeles Times published an article about SWEDE FEST™ 2 PALM BEACH, interviewing our intrepid festival organizer, Belle Forino! Now THAT’S how we do publicity here at SF2PB HQ. And that’s the “royal we,” since our crack publicist, Elizabeth Dashiell, is the one who really deserves the credit for our terrific press coverage.
Scott Simmons over at Florida Weekly interviewed the team that sweded one of the most recognizable romantic moments of the Nineties, the pottery wheel scene from Ghost. Their twist? We have almost 40 films to screen Saturday night, and you get to help pick the Audience Favorite. The doors of the Borland Center for Performing Arts will open at 6:30. We’ll have lots of stuff going on in the lobby before the screening, including the film crew from New Vision Productions, DJ Victor Russo, cocktails and other drinkables from Potions in Motion, gourmet coffee and munchies from Oceana Coffee, swag tables from Florida Weekly, Yelp! and PureHoney.com, and more.
